1. ... g5 and white can't avoid g4.
If the knight
on f3 moves then it is still g4
winning the knight on h3.
If 2. Ne5 Qc7
and now if 3. Ng6 Rf6 4. Qh5
Kg7 and the knight has run out of
squares and will drop on move 5.
_____

The game continued 1. ... Rxf2 2.
Qxf2 g3 3. Qf5+
Qxf5 4. exf5 gxh2 5. Kxf2 Rg4
forks the pawns and looks like a
won
endgame to me. If 3. Qe1 (to
protect h4) gxh2 4. Kxh2 Rg4 5.
Kh3 Rf4 is
a little better for black

1. ... Ne4+! and now if 2. Kh1?
Qxh2+!!! 3. Kxh2 Rg2+ 4. Kh1 Ng3
mate. If instead 2. Kf1 Rg1+!!!
and now 3. Bxg1 Nd2 mate, so
instead 3. Kxg1 Qg5+! 4. Kf1 Qg2+
5. Ke1 Qe2 mate. How many people
can see this problem all the way
through?

This is complicated. At some
points white can sac material to
delay mate but the result is the
same. 1. ... Ne4+ and 2. Kh1 or
Kf1 then Qh3 fores mate. 2. Kf1
Qh3 3. Ke1 Qxf3! 4. Qf2 or Bf2
Rg1+ 5. Bxg1 Nd3 mate! If U can C
this, U master.

1. ... Ne5+ 2. Kxe5 Nc6+ (the
idea was just to get
the pawn out of the so as to
open lines to the king.) 3. Kd3 or
Kd5 and
then Qd8+ 4. Kc5 Qd4+ 5. Kb5
Qb4 mate. If 3. Kc4 then Be6+
forces
mate. If 3. Kc3 then Qf6+
forces mate.

I don't recommend cxb4 although it
might win but it requires black to
retreat his king to stop the pawn
on c4. Much more to the point is
1. ... h3! (or d3!) and the pawn
will queen with check. If 2. Kg3
d3!
3. Kf3 h2 4. Kg2 d2 queens on
move 5.
5B0055
If white can play g6 here he wins,
so to prevent
that play 1. ... hxg5 2. hxg5
g6! locks out the white king. If
then 3.
fxe6 fxe6 4. g3+ Kc5 (also
interesting is Kc3) 5. Kf4 (He has
run out of
delaying moves) Kd5 wins the
pawn and the game.
_____

the position looks difficult for
Black. But he can do well with 1.
... Rd2!
and now the best line is 2. Qxd2
Rxd2 3. Bxb7 cxd5 and it looks
like
white has two pieces hanging, but
he can play 4. Nf3! so now Rxe2
5. Bxa6 Ra2! and Black wins a pawn
and has the better game.

Although black can win with 1. Rf2+
Rxf2 2. Qxf2+
and 3. Qxf6 and 4. Rg8, Black
might as well play for mate because
of the
exposure of the White king.
There may be more than one way to
get mate,
but it probably has to start
with 1. ... Qd2+ 2. Ke4 (Not 2.
Kf3 Qe2+
3. Kf4 Rg4 mate.) 2. ... Qe2+
3. Kd4 Qd3+ 4. Ke5 Qe3+ 5. Kd6
Qc5 mate.
_____

1. ... Nxe4 wins at least a pawn.
If 2. Nxe4 Nxd4
gets the piece back. If then 3.
c3 Nxe2+ etc. But this can get
trickier
than that. If 2. Nf5 Nxc3! and
now 3. Bxb6 Nxd1 4. Nxg7 axb6 5.
Rxd1
Kxg7 wins. If instead 3. bxc3
Qa5 4. Nxg7 white has won a pawn
and
can win another with 4. ... Qxc3
because the knight on g7 has
nowhere
to hide.
