This is my study guide to 1,001 Brilliant Ways to Checkmate by Fred Reifeld.
In the 1970's, this was the only book on tactics that I had available to
study. What I didn't like about it is that the problems are in no particular
order of difficulty. There were 10 move problems and 1 move problems on
the same page, and 2/3 of the problems in the book were above my level at
the time which meant that studying those problems were a waste of my time.

I have taken the first half of the book and grouped the problems by
*rating* *class*. This could be a useful study program for those who want
to start with the easier problems and work their way up to the harder
problems.

1.) Acknowlegment if they found the page useful. 2.) Their own opinions
about the difficulty of the above problems, and if any of the problems
should be moved to another rating class. 3.) Their opinions about the
difficulty of problems not listed here.
